Each mascot we bring to life is 100% original. We take your valuable character and mathematically make each pattern piece by hand. Each item is hand sculpted with care and attention to detail. We do not use the foam injection or fiberglass molds that are so hot and heavy to wear. Even on orders of 100 or more, each mascot is made by hand with care. How do I get to be your feature mascot?

1) Do you supply a drawing or do I?

Answer: we work both ways we can design something for you or take your drawing and bring it to life. We may need to make some design changes to your drawings as we work out where vision will be and what it will look like with a real person inside.. all this is free of charge.

2) What if I don’t like your idea?

Answer: no problem we are prepared to make as many design changes as you need to create the exact look. We know how important a mascot is and work one on one with you to get the exact personality into the design.

3) What happens with the design once it is done?

Answer: when you buy the design it is yours to put on any promotional materials you wish. We will not duplicate you mascot for anyone else. The design is held for 60 days, if you decide to not order the mascot we then put it in our resource file for other mascot ideas. Up Front owns the copyright of all designs provided to you unless you buy the mascot, or design from us. Once the mascot is sold to you the design is then yours.

4) After the design has been established what is next?

Answer: the next step is to get your 50% non refundable deposit. We then order the fabrics, confirm with you all the costume details and begin the patterns.

5) What happens if I need changes once it is started?

Answer: if the design was approved and you want changes after we begin construction you may be subject to a fee for the change depending on the stage we are at with the mascot construction.

6) How many mascots are too many for an order?

Answer: there is no limit to amount of mascots you can order, our factory can handle all size orders from 1 – 1,000

7) How long will it take to get my mascot once you receive the deposit?

Answer: on average it takes 6 – 8 weeks to make and one week for shipping. Depending on the time of year you order and current production.

8) I have an event in two weeks can you do it?

Answer: on most rush orders there is an additional cost for overtime, but we try to accommodate you. Your mascot would be air shipped to you next day service there is a higher ship cost but we work hard to get your mascot where he needs to be on time.

9) It is very hot where we are is the mascot hot to wear?

Answer: all mascots are hot to wear. We pay special attention to ventilation and with our method of construction and materials we use this keeps it more comfortable. We also have cooling vests and fan systems both dual or single as well. If you order you mascot within 2 weeks of the quote you get a free ice vest with 4 gel packs as our gift to you.

10) How easy is the mascot to clean?

Answer: Our method of construction makes most bodies and clothing washable at home in your own machine. No need to send it out. The heads are made of a foam that does not absorb odors so you should only need to clean your head once a year on the outside and never on the inside. To clean the heads and feet use a portable steam cleaner available at any department store. This goes for the larger unibody style mascots as well.

11 How long will my mascot last?

Answer: with proper care your mascot should last 5 – 10 years depending on the usage we have made some that are still in great shape after 15 years. We do provide you with a manual to care for the mascot and offer repair and cleaning services for your piece of mind.

13) How do I make payment to you?

Answer: we can take your visa/ master card over the phone or you can mail us your 50% deposit in check or money order form.

14) Will I see the mascot before you ship it?

Answer: yes we do a photo shoot for our web site and send you pictures of the finished mascot prior to shipping. The balance is then due prior to shipping.

15) Can I arrange a link to your site?

Answer: for every client who adds a link from them to us we will give you one free pair of mascot gloves once it has been set up.

16) How do I get to be your feature mascot?

Answer: this is a vote taken by the staff on the last day of each month.
